Comments : I was very excited to see a photo of Wattie and Pumpkin on your website, as they are my dog's grandfather and father. I absolutely adored Wattie when I met him about 9 years ago. My Dougall is also from Domovay, out of Tia, the younger of Ana's girls at the time. He is a big boy, just like his grandfather.

Comments : Hi Connie, really lovely website. Especially the references and history. Congratulations and fantastic to see you doing so well....you certainly have the bug. You know, I grew up around a lot of westies,starting with Jamie in the 70's, Casa,Annie, Ailsa, met Wattie, pumpkin and Hamilton as well all the puppies. I remember waiting for Casa to begin labour and well into the night delivering 7 puppies. Australia was to play Scotland in Rugby Union the next weekend. I stayed up all night with our beloved girl and finished knitting my first green and gold scarf. Of course it was the only green and gold scarf in the Scottish household!
As the Moira of "Moirungu", I thank you for acknowledging the dedication of Jessie Beattie. I know only too well the quality of dediction to health, nutrition, care, of puppies and veterans and on going sharing of information over several decades to anyone who called or asked. Teaching new owners how to 'strip' their westie, feeding tips and even advice on how to be 'at one' with the very funny,entertaining, loyal,gentle and the strong willed character of the Westie.
We recently lost our old Cocker Spaniel and my Harrier "Angus" is 11 and an old beagle before that. So it seems I have a passion for Hounds!
When travelling and I see a Westie I smile, for a Westie will always smile back, infact I feel they never stop smiling!
