BARRAGAN MONTERREZ SHOWDOGS

Our Pointers have been part of the kennels for the last 15 years. During this time we have owned or bred 2 Grand Champions and 21 Champions.

We strive to breed correct type that is appreciated by the specialist and the allrounder. Some of the outstanding dogs that we have owned or bred are Gd Ch Moruada Chocolate Chip and his son Gd Ch Barragan Georgio Armani, Ch Barragan Calvin Klien, Ch Shiraden Abby and Ch Barragan Swan Song.

We proudly lay claim to breeding the youngest grand champion in the history of the breed. Breeding the youngest Pointer ever to win best of breed at a Royal show. Breeding puppy of the year and a runner up puppy of the year.

We have downsized the Pointer show team to allow more time for our other breeds. We  still have a strong young show team who will be out there giving the opposition a run for their money.

"Jack" is an extremely athletic dog, he has excellent construction. he moves with great reach and drive. He is a confident dog & has a wonderful outgoing temperament. He has desired freeflowing lines as reqiured by the standard. He is a Best in Show winner, multi Royal Best of Breed winner and runner up in group winner.

2 Aust Ch Barragan Ebony( Aust Ch Barragan Ready Set Go x Aust Ch Crimmercrock Hera) black & white

"Ebony" has an extremely correct and feminine head. She has beautiful movement, correct bone and tail set. She  was sparingly shown as a younster but still achieved her title with ease often beating the older male competition along the way. She will be shown this year along side our other girls.

"Jade" is the epitomy of  the  Pointer standard. She has all the curves in all the right places. She has an amazing temperament. She is now back with us after a stint of maternal duties with her breeders and ready top recommence her show career where she left off. She rocketed to her title winning best in group and runner up best in group along the way.
