"Candlewind" is proud to introduce Quinn (Backhills Ringmaster) to Austalia from his home in Sweden where he was lovingly prepared and nurtured for his trip downunder by Karin and Britt-Marie Staff of Kennel Backhills.

After a long wait, considerable planning and flying half way around the World, he arrived at his new home with us in April 2008, after his 30 days at the Sydney Quarintine Station. We have since discovered that this little man appears to be almost bomb proof as nothing seems to dull his enthusiasm for life both in and out of the show ring.

"Quinn" brings with him some of the beautiful Swedish lines that once we could only dream about (see his Dogzonline Profile for pedigree information). "Quinn" has eagely accepted his place here at Candlewind and will be an important link in our future breeding plans. In the meantime, Quinn is being campaigned and hopefully can someday give Backhill's Kennel their first Australian Champion. 

Quinn sired his first litter to our beautiful girl "Gidget" Ch Ashmere Unforgetable on 20th December 2008 and progeny from this litter are currently gracing the show rings in Queensland and South Australia. As we eagerly watch their development, his 2nd litter to "Skye" Cobalt Skyes The Limit, were born 13th March 2009. This litter was especially bred by Candlewind for June Worth who campaigns her lovely dogs in Far North Queensland. This litter was line bred on the beautiful Travis lines of Sweden and we wish June every success in the coming months as she introduces her young hopefuls to the show ring.
