OUR BREEDING PHILOSOPHY

At CANDLEWIND our puppies are born in the house and raised indoors with access to fun and sun on a daily basis from four weeks of age.
We socialise our dogs with many visitors, our beloved Ragdoll Cat Zac and our adult Cocker Spaniels.
A Cocker Puppy from CANDLEWIND will be a well rounded, house raised, merry Cocker. 
We endeavour to put our emphasis when breeding on conformation, type and temperament.
Here at Candlewind we are doing informed breeding as all of our dogs have been profiled and genetically tested for prcd-PRA and AHRN (FN) and/or certified clear via the Genetic Science Services testing program. Some of our dogs have been hipscored and this program is a "work in progress".

We pride ourselves on bringing up our puppies in clean, loving environment and all care is taken.
However, mother nature can be very cruel at times - and sadly we don't have a crystal ball - so all puppies are sold with no guarantees, neither given nor implied.
As responsible breeders and caretakers of the breed - we are here to provide ongoing support for you and your new puppy. All puppies are vaccinated at 6 weeks, wormed and  microchipped prior to delivery and an extensive information package is provided.
