CELTICBRAE WELCOMES MAGIC MOMENT OF CELTICBRAE URWISKA SZKOCJI He is finally here! Magic has arrived from Poland via the Czech Rep. Our thanks to Nina Perek for entrusting us with this Beautiful dog and thanks also to Maria Damasinosova for making it all possible. Magic is the first westie to be imported from Poland and we are excited to have this little man in our lives.
Westies are very adaptable little dogs and are suitable for people in towns and cities as well as in the country. They are very active indoors and will do okay without a yard.Westies enjoy a regular walk or sessions of play in the park, but won't be too upset if they miss a day.The Westie's harsh, short-haired double coat is fairly easy to groom and sheds little to no hair. Simply brush regularly with a stiff bristle brush. Brushing should keep the coat clean, so bathe only when necessary.Trim around the ears and eyes with blunt-nosed scissors. The whole coat should be trimmed about every four months and stripped twice a year.Preparing a coat for show is far more demanding as it requires many hours of hand stripping.Westies were originally bred for controlling the population of rats, fox, Badger, otter and other vermin in Scotland.
