I started out showing and breeding horses and with several relocations with work it made it very difficult to continue on.  So as passionate as I am with my animals I went on the search for the perfect breed of dog, yes I found it, the Miniature Schnauzer.  My very first was purchased from Awun Miniature Schnauzers in 1997 and luckily for me as a novice groomer he did very well, I spent weekend after weekend learning everything that I could about the breed and the grooming.  Bailey (Awun Cheekychap - hence Cheekychap Miniature Schnauzers) was a wonderful introduction to the breed, he loved to be shown and has reproduced it in all of his progeny. 

Rayma and John Ritzau decided to semi retire from showing and breeding and let me purchase a wonderful foundation bitch Lucy (Awun Pandemonium) which began my journey as a breeder.  I have only been breeding for 5 years and have bred 3 of my own champions with a new star waiting in the wings.  I was also very privileged to be able to purchase from Denise and Delyce of Graubart Miniature Schnauzers a wonderful black show bitch now Champion Graubart Only In Blak.  I love to show so that I am sure that I continue to reproduce the best quality and natured dogs at all times possible.  I only breed occassionally as my dogs are very much apart of my family and I only do so to hopefully get that next wonderful show dog.
