AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION CHITOY MISSTIQUE XANADU
We are a small Kennel breeding mainly for show...
We bought our first pedigreed Male Chihuahua in 1965 - and we named him "Pedro". Pedro was bought as a pet, we did not start showing dogs until 1997.
Champion Chitoy Misstique Xanadu (Tiki - pictured above) is our first homebred Champion and she has won many acccolades in her show career, following in the tradition of her Grandfather Grand Ch. Dearchi Xanadu Quintana.
"Xanadu" (with a remarkable likeness to Pedro) has enriched our lives in so many ways. His bearing in the show-ring is spirited with a forceful forward movement - an exquisite 4lb. 5oz. dog with a commanding, eye-catching presence. We have retired Xanadu from the Showring and he can now enjoy the rest of his years just being a dog. At home, Xanadu is just as lively and energetic as ever (with a little bit of the devil still at large when he plays with our other chi's). He is still the King although many try to usurp him, to their peril. His daughter, Ch. Dearchi "Miss Xanadu", has the same proud (but dainty) spirited movement. Ch. Chitoy Misstique Xanadu -"Tiki" is Xanadu's Grand-daughter. A stunning, black and white smoothcoat with a delightful, temperament. Tiki never stops wagging her tail. We feel very privileged to have such wonderful showdogs, as well as loving pets.
Because the Chihuahua is the smallest dog in the world we breed our show dogs small, preferably in the 4 lb. to 5 lb. range. We breed sound, healthy, happy dogs. Our puppies are raised in a loving environment inside the house where it is warm in winter and cool in summer. Our dogs are thorougly spoiled, but we get it back fourfold. We are currently registered with The Victorian Canine Association Inc. No puppies available
