Definately not a PUG ! but I wonder if this is where it all began !!

                                    To introduce ourselves we are Lea Nicola and Keith Clarke.

                                    We live on the beautiful coastline of St Marys Bay in Auckland

                                    New Zealand.

                                    We officially started breeding and showing Pugs in 2002.

                                    We have always had a dogs in the family and my grandfather

                                    Bred and Showed English Bulldogs in New Zealand in the

                                    1920s. & 30s.

                                    I have always loved flat faced breeds growing up with Pekingese

                                    that my mother adored.

                                    Our first Pug came into our life in 1991. She is Marksville Caramello

                                    bred by the late Mary Smith of Marksville Kennels New Zealand.

                                    Muffin as we call her was purchased as a pet for daughter Nicola.

                                    We are blessed "Muffin" is still with us today.

                                    It was not our intension to bred or show pugs.

                                    Quite by chance the President of the club invited us to come

                                    along to a Fun Day to The Auckland Pug Dog Club Championship

                                    Show in 1992.

                                    It was our first time to a dog show so we entered 'Muffin' into all

                                    the classes allowed at a Speciality Show hoping to win just one class

                                    as a thrill for my daughter.
 
                                    Well we certainly had a FUN DAY when she won all of the classes

                                    entered and ..BEST PUPPY IN SHOW 6-12 Months

                                    BEST PUPPY IN SHOW..BEST NOVICE IN SHOW..

                                    BEST Opp NZ BRED IN SHOW..BEST OPEN IN SHOW...

                                    and BEST BITCH IN SHOW...and to mention 1st and 2nd placings in

                                    the specials. 52 entries under Jack Davis NSW.

                                    I think he liked her !!! :)......What an introduction !!!
