2012! Its here and we're ready!

Jan 26, 27, 28 & 29 - Westbury Kennel Club Champ Shows
An epic weekend! Showing the hairy people away from home (and our dryer and hydrobath!) for 4 days was trying! Add in some extreme weather conditions and it was a 10 on the degree of difficulty scale! But the dogs coped ok and we all had fun.

Gracie then went on to be awarded Runner Up in Group (Group 2)!! We didn't get back into the ring - but were thrilled with our wins!

Jan 14 - Tas Kennel Club Show - Judge Mr R Cleland
Fantastic day! Lewis goes Best In Group and Miss Gracie goes Junior in Show! Some fantastic comments from friends and judges and our friends also getting in on the "dangly" action topped off a brilliant day!

At the first show of the year - the Combined Breeds AM show on January 2nd under Judge Mrs D Crofts Gracie was BOB with Lewis was Rup BOB and Ausbred in Group. For the Afternoon show the roles were reversed under Judge: Mrs Van De Weg with Lewis BOB and Ausbred in Group and Gracie Rup BOB.

2011

As we see 2011 coming to a close (with only 3 shows remaining) - We are very pleased to list our most recent wins/successes....

Alice - Nahemja Twilight - attains her Australian Champion Status. She has been awarded many age class in group & show wins along the way.

Gracie - Siimline Glamourous Parti (Imp UK) - attains her Australian Champion Status. She has also had her first Runner Up in Group award! She often kicks Lewis's butt for BOB and has many class in group awards as well! She has qualified for Puppy of the Year in Feb.  We are positive she will do well!

Lewis - Gr Ch Amesen Simply Sinful - AGAIN Lewis does us proud! He continues to amass many Best In Group awards, Runner Up In Group awards and Class in Groups. We just love this boy and feel he is only just coming into his prime. He will also qualify for the new Supreme Champion Award which will come into effect on Jul 1 2012.  This will be the highest award on offer from the ANKC.

Archie - Janet McGregor and Archie continue to dominate the Lhasa ring in QLD! Archie will now be known as Australian Champion Clanaran Causing Chaos!! We are delighted in all that Janet is doing with our boy and look forward to perhaps making up our first homebred Grand Champion! He has been awarded 5 Best In Groups this year! We look forward to his son Lyngala Love N Liberty making his mark in the ring in 2012.

A big thank you.....

2011 is ending on such a high for us at Clanaran. We couldn't be happier with our little family of fur kids and are so pleased for our friends who are having such great successes in the ring. Simon Watling is having great fun with Bella - winning his first Rup In Show and will finish her Grand Champion Title shortly; Maree and Daniel Aitcheson have had a great year with the beautiful OES Cher (aka Crazy Bitch!) and Puli April, with many Best and Runner Up in Shows; Carol, Ken and Taylor Millhouse with their GSD team (BOB's at both Royals among other great wins) and the fake GSD's - aka Bichons and ESS; Sue & Michael Gray with their Poodles and now a brown curly fellow! I look forward to many relaxing, stress free show days with my great friends. Thanks for your support this year. You'll never know how much I appreciate it. xx
