Breeders of blue and red Australian Cattle Dogs, bred for type and temperament. We are a small kennel breeding Australian Cattle Dogs for performance in the fields of work or show. Our dogs have broad heads, powerful hindquarters and shoulders with good type and temperament.

When looking to choose a breeder there are many things you should consider.  There are many breeders,  some of whom are merely backyard puppy farmers who are not in it for the betterment of the breed. Recently we were accepted as members of the Master Dog Breeders Academy, an achievement we are very proud of. To be accepted as a member of the MDBA, breeders must be able to demonstrate, amongst other things, a comittment to the constant improvement of the breed and we were delighted our efforts over many years have been recognised through membership of the MDBA. 

In dealings with breeders, as a minimum, we recommend you ask to see the parents of the pups and view the facilities. If possible inspect the breeders dogs and facilities personally for  yourself.  We love people to come and see our dogs and their wonderful natures.   

Hearing testing is of major importance to the Australian Cattle Dog breed. Hearing problems are not only genetic and an unknown accident can cause partial or total deafness in a pup.  You can never be sure if the pup has full hearing without a proper hearing test and it is a problem many people are not aware of or understand.  We have been working with the Queensland University and all our pups are hearing tested by the Queensland University at approximately 6 weeks of age and a copy of the hearing test results are provided to the new owners.  Our lines have proven to be clean but you never know and all our pups are tested regardless of their breeding.  The Queensland University has been conducting research into deafness in a number of breeds including Australian Cattle Dogs and we are proud to have been able to assist in a small way.  It is a 4  hour round trip for us to do it but it is worth it at the end of the day when we let our pups go as we can be confident in the quality of our pups.
