It is a relatively rare thing for me to come across a mature Basset Hound in need of a new home but occassionally it does happen.  The Basset tends to have a very low "dumpage" rate - much to my relief.

However, from time to time, I do come across mature Basset Hounds looking for new homes.  Mostly it is just a change in family circumstances that creates such a situation but I am dedicated to this wonderful breed of dog and will do all I can to assist in re-homing the more mature hound into another lovely, caring environment.

At the moment, I have been asked to find a new home for the wonderful "Ringo" - (email me for photos).  So if you think that you fit the criteria to be belonged by a new Basset Hound in a caring environment, then please feel free to contact me to discuss further.  Ringo is a 4 year old, Tri coloured, purebred male Basset Hound looking to relocate to a new and loving family so if you think that you fit his criteria, let me know.  He is currently located in Northern Qld (Mackay) so the only cost to you to have Ringo join your household is the cost of transportation to you.  This cost is usually based on the weight of the dog and he would probably weigh around the 28-30kg range so if you want to get an idea of costs, contact "Dogtainers" on 1300 135 252.
