About Us
 |
I remember when my husband David mentioned owning a Saint Bernard. At the time I had 3 cats & disliked dogs with a passion! Of course, a Saint Bernard seemed like a nightmare for anyone who didn't like dogs!
However, Bonnie (Ajasaint Mary Poppins)- a beautiful smooth girl joined our house & consequently, life has never been the same! Bonnie to this day remains an Angel. Her outstanding love for David & myself made it very easy to decide on owning another Saint Bernard. Bonnie has true grace & eternal love for any person who just looks her way! Bonnie is certainly blessed!
Since owning Bonnie, we have sold our small car to fit her in. Within a short time, we sold our second car to fit in our next saint edition - Angus (Ch Bernabby Simon). To date, we now own a hefty landcruiser to pull the dog trailer which carries most of the family!
Needless to say, we have since moved to 5 acres with a dog licence!!!
Would we change anything? .... NEVER!!!!!!!!
Angus (Ch Bernabby Simon) was our second saint and he was imported as a baby from New Zealand. Angus is always a 'favourite' at any fun day or Saint Bernard event due to his outstanding nature. There is no doubt that Angus displays the true character of a saint Bernard.
A couple of years later, we were able to recognise the style & type of Saint Bernard we wanted to strive for. This led to the purchase of Cosmo (Ch Dein Hards Nice Fellow) from Dein Hard Kennels in Sweden. A few years later ... we purchased our fourth Saint Bernard - again from Sweden - Chloe (Ch Dein Hards Uptown Girl).
A big thank you to Karin at Dein Hard Kennels for trusting us with her beautiful examples of the breed!
Our two Swedish imports created our first Fyfersaint girl - Sophie! What an experience! Sophie was an only child ... so consequently ... a little spoilt!
We have since imported our latest Saint from Sweden - Seamus (Dein Hards Walk Over) and look forward to watching his show career develop
What did we do before Saint Bernards????
