The Beginning

Here at Gleneagle I have been blessed with sharing my life with some wonderfull Borzoi not only in the show ring but as constant companions. It all started with a chance meeting and following rescue of Cassy, who later became Australian Champion Sparrowood Shere Fara and the start of Gleneagle Borzoi. I always knew she had potential and she showed this at Melbourne Royal (the biggest dog show in the Southern Hemisphere) in 1987 while still under 18 months of age by winning Best of Breed.
Cassy is behind many of todays top winning Borzoi in Australia. She whelped two litters both Sired by Australian Champion Podarn Vancouver Vice for David and Pauline Barclay and Robert and Judy Brougham under the Broughclay prefix, including:
