It was with a pair of very heavy hearts that Rhonda and I said goodbye to our first and founding member of our RR family, Spencer (aka Spen, Mr. Spen, Spenmeister and The Big Fella).  No words could adequately express what this young man's arrival did for us, our family and our friends. Spen epitomised everything that's great about a Rhodesian Ridgeback and we can only hope that each one of you has the opportunity to be owned by a special RR in your lifetime - we were certainly blessed and know that Spen's spirit will live on at Kelanco.   Thank you Spen, may your next journey be filled with all your old friends and a whole lot of new girls to meet!!

Welcome to Kelanco Rhodesian Ridgebacks and thanks for spending some time viewing our beloved RR's.

Kelanco (pronounced Kel-and-Co) is based south of Cairns on just over four Ridgeback running and playing acres.

We are currently owned by Spencer, Kel, Bailey, Marnie and DJ. Kel (aka Au. Ch. LaSimba Look With Pride) is our foundation bitch having produced her first litter in June 2003. Bailey (aka 'Bails' - Au. Ch. LaSimba Stand N Deliver, hips 1/1, elbows 0/0) is our resident stud dog and is available to qualified bitches.
