Xioma Connection 2012 Has brought another wonderful boy to New Zealand from Xioma Kennels - Sun-Hee's Live and Love aka Romeo arrived in January. Romeo is here until September - Kia ora Romeo Koreke Kennels have been connected with the Australian kennel; Xioma in Adelaide since 2002. Working in co-operation with Xioma has linked our breeding to Swedish, American and Norweign lines. The DNA testing undertaken by Xioma Kennels has given us a solid foundation of knowledge on which to build our kennels.
2004 we campaingned Australian Grand Champion Xioma Sagebrush. In the Year he was in New Zealand 'Smudge' won BOB at the New Zealand National Dog Show; pulled out for the final Group line up. Smudge gained his NZ Ch, Bronze and Silver Merit Awards plus many Group placings. 2007 Australian Grand Champion Xioma Fire In The Sky arrived in New Zealand.To our knowledge 'Billy' was the first Chinese Crested Dog to be awarded BIS in a New Zealand All Breeds Championship Show. Billy competed in the NZKC National Dog Show where he won BOB; pulled out in the final Group line up. During the 11 months Billy was at Koreke Kennels he continued to promote the Chinese Crested breed in New Zealand with his impressive show career: 13 October 2007 South Canterbury Kennel Society Champ Show under Mr G Whitfield (Wellington) Billy was awarded 'Reserve In Show' Thank you to all the Judges who provided us with support and feedback during Billy's sensational New Zealand campaign. We would also like to thank Mrs Sylvia Johnson and Ms Sally Johnson of Xioma Kennels for allowing us to handle and use at stud these delightful boys.
