Puppies at 4 weeks of age.
The colouring of SABLE, is an acceptable coloration variation of the GSD, in fact, a Sable is the most dominant of all acceptable colors in a Shepherd. Litters having 1 Sable parent and the other Black and Gold (B & G) will produce Sable puppies and B & G puppies. We had exactly half and half in this litter. Mum is a Sable from Sable to B & G. The father of these puppies is B & G from B & G Parents.
Unlike a B & G puppy which becomes lighter in colouring as it get older, a Sable does the reverse.
Following Zhara's progress will explain exactly that! See our page that is dedicated to her first year.
Hope you enjoy the pic's. Don't forget to sign our Guestbook, it will be great to see your comments. Cheers!
