Hi, I am a flokati Rug  (aka Walter Hamilton Brown)

This is TOFFEE, (AKA Lyngala Lotus Flower) we had a visit from Toffee and Isabella (and mum Elizabeth) today and Toffee had a hair cut, don't you love her red ribbon ?
Toffee is very much loved by Isabella and family, you can tell that just by looking at her and seeing that she is very content with her life.

Just so you all remember here is Toffee (above) with Isabella, the day she went to her new home. My, how she has grown.

Walter (Lyngala Liberace) has a new family now, Rosanne and Peter, we are sure to have many great stories ahead from this truly amazing little man. He is really living up to his make sake (Liberace). Of course Walter is named after the real Liberace, whose full name is Walter Valentino Liberace,  one of the greatest showman ever known.  Little Walter is just as full of life.  Watch this space for his adventures with Roxy, Maddie, Charlotte and of course the human contingency, Rosanne and Peter.

A rare moment in the life of a showman, they must get their rest.

We have only owned Walter for 2 weeks and have had many funny moments with him in that time, but last night proved what a clever boy he really is.

Walter was outside while I was inside watching a movie when the sensor light went on.  I looked out the window, and here was Walter with a 1 metre long bamboo stake in his mouth and he was intending to bring it inside through the doggie door which only measures 10” by 12”. I thought to myself that there was no way that he would get that through the flap.

Being quite the little showman, he thought about it for a moment,  placed his mouth at one end of the stick, came up to the door, reversed back & forth a few times, then  turned his head sideways pushing the flap open, entering and pulling the stick in behind him.  I was amazed – is there no end to his talents.

Cheers Rosanne, Peter, and our four legged family, Roxy, Maddie, Charlotte, Bronson and now Walter.

HI ! my name is Cilla, my mummy Kim acquired me from Janet when I was nearly 6 months old, I love my mummy so much. I hope you enjoy this stories about the day I killed that old Teddy !!

I have a story to tell you about what happened when I arrived home from work the other day.

Cilla greeted me as usual at the garage gate, but she had all these sort of light coloured things dotted all over her – I did not really stop to look at what they were as I had my hands full with groceries.

Anyway when I got into the house I saw that these dots were also on the floor of several rooms throughout the house.  Upon looking closer, I saw that they were small pieces of foam.   I could not imagine where they had come from, so I searched around and found that my rather large Teddy that was given to me after the 74 floods had major carnage.  His eyes were missing altogether (Teddy was now blind!), and he had a huge head wound with bits of foam spilling out from it.  Teddy was indeed – dare I say no longer with us anymore!

Cilla seemed very happy with herself though – all in a days work for her I suppose!  I just laughed and left everything just were Cilla had left it, so I could show Peter when he came home.  He thought it was unbelievable as well!  Yet when I showed Cilla the damaged Teddy she seemed very afraid of him – I have no idea why?  Teddy’s burial will be next Tuesday when the garbage truck arrives!  RIP Teddy!

What goes on in that little brain I shall never know!.  Probably best that I don’t know I think!

See ya!  Take care  Kim

Cilla was born August 2004 and has been with Kim since she was 6 months old, her father is our wonderful Hamilton bred dog, American Champion Kai-La-Sha Jigme (IMP USA)

Hi everyone ! My name is Moshie, I am a black and white Lhasa Apso (although it is hard to see me all on my wonderful cushion) I am 9 years old and my mummy got me from Janet all those years ago when I was just a young boy. I am very spoiled and my mummy Gayle has a story about me.

A funny story about Moshie, or is it ? It was on fathers day, last year, I had purchased a box of Cadbury Favorites, quite a large box, which I left hidden in my bedroom. I've never worried about Mosh before in nine years he's never got into anything.

Well, one afternoon I caught him in the bottom of the cupboard, he seemed to be hiding something using his nose to push things around. I realized he was hiding chocolates!!!!!!

I raced into my bedroom where I found the box of Cadbury Favorites, I thought I had hidden, wide open and chocolates scattered all over the floor !  I could see 3 wrappers with no chocolates in them. I went into the lounge and he was hiding more under each cushion for later on, he couldn't eat anymore so he thought 'lets save them for later'.

Meanwhile, I am feeling sick, I gathered all the chocolates up and the box and weighed them to workout how much he had eaten. He had only eaten the soft centers, thank goodness.  I decided not to panic as he seemed quite happy with himself, as any chocoholic will know ?  Moshie was fine, so now I will never leave chocolates hidden in my bedroom again, they all get put well out of his reach.

Hi everyone ! My name in Shadow, (officially, Lyngala Leave It to Beava) my mummy, Heather, has had me for a little over 2 years now, she is very proud of me and she wants to share some of my life with you all.

Of course I am NOT going to play with a PINK BALL !! I am a boy and I want a blue ball !!

Shadow’s UnderwearFetish.

Shadow is also anunderwear thief.  He is very partial tomy very expensive lacy underwear that I have bought overseas.  He never touches anything I buy fromTarget.  He either overturns the dirtywashing hamper or worse opens the front loading washing machine and helpshimself.  I have found tell tale toothmarks and tears in much of my underwear and Frank has found his half buried inthe back yard or hidden under the bushes in the garden.  He has been known to appear in the loungeroom wearing articles of underwear over his head.  If you want it back you have to ignore himotherwise he runs away and hides it.

By the way, Shadow achieved his Grade 3 Standard Certificate today and graduates to Gold.  He will now be trained at Canine Companion Dog Level.  What I will do after CCD, I have no idea, but I am so proud of him.

I have here some precious moments in the life of my own retired show dogs and my own pets.  Pictured above we have Pixi (Aust Ch Lyngala Luvs A  Princess), Flower (Lyngala Lets Partee) & Maree (Khelang-Kyi Maray IMP ESP).    I  know I live in Brisbane and it is supposed to be a great climate, however over the past few weeks we have had some very cold nights and mornings, my girls needed a hair cut but I was afraid they would get cold, so I came up with the perfect solution "Jumpers".  Dare I say,  now we have our very own "Jumper Gang".   Here are a few shots of them going about their daily job of guarding their backyard, of course I had to go matching jumpers, LOL.
