In 1971 we started showing a Dobermann Lizmain Del Arnagaro 'Sultan' and have been involved in the Dog World in both showing and obedience producing many titled dogs including In Show winners. 

The breeds we have shown over the years are Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Irish Water Spaniels gaining CDX obedience titles with both the Staffy & Irish Water Spaniels.  In 1997 we saw the Griffon Bruxellois with their arrogant expression and beautiful eyes and decided that we would like to show and do obedience with these fun loving characters.

After competing successfully for two years we started our breeding program and we have worked to achieve a true Griffon in temperament, type and confirmation.

Millbank Griffons are consistent winners in Australia breeding Specialty winners, Royal Show Group placements and Best of Breed Winners, BIG/RUBIG and Class winners.

In 2009 at the Griffon Championship show Millbank Kennels again was the most successful kennel on the day breeding the RUBIS CH Millbank Send em Wyld, (who is the mother of Best in Show winner) Ch Shirgriff Wyld About Harry owned and handled by Caroline Elder of NSW.  Reserve dog, Ch Millbank Ruff En Wyld and Opposite State Bred our Veteran Ch Millbank Huckle Berry, Opposite Junior Millbank Livvy May who in May obtained her Aust Champion title making this our 13th  Australian Champion.  

In October 2009 Ch Millbank Ruff En Wyld obtained his Grand Champion title making him the first registered Victoria Griffon Bruxellois to achive this title and topping off his show career with 2 Runner up in Group on the same weekend, Tommy WASwas Victoria's DOLPS Top B.O.B. winning Griffon for 2009.
