The McRae families love of pugs has spanned 4 generations and the love affair continues. 

Birsay Kennels was established in 1970 after much encouragement and guidence from the late Mary Quick of Quicklyn Kennels.

In the 38 years of showing and breeding pugs Jock, Elaine and Leonie have owned or bred over 100 Champions,

some also being Dual Champions and Grand Champions.

In 1980 Leonie established Raesay Kennels and is licenced to judge

Group 1 Toys at Championship Show level and

Group 3 Gundogs at Open Show level.

 

Birsay and Raesay Kennels are situated in Bendigo, Central Victoria, Australia.
