Let me tell you a little about us we started showing back in December 1985 our first breed was Bull Terriers thus starting Rendar Kennels we showed this breed  for 11 years, the Bullies  still  hold a very special place in our hearts  we also showed and had a litter of Sealyham Terriers and American Cocker Spaniels loved the Yanks but we are terrier people, we had admired the Kerry Blue Terriers right from when we started showing when you see a good Kerry Blue Terrier come into the ring they will take your breath away.

In December 1996 we where lucky in getting our first Kerry Blue Terrier from Eltinto Kennels which was Ch. Eltinto Blu Bludy Murder (Zac) he was 15 months old  and in February 1997   he was joined by Ch. Eltinto You Wish (Dee) who was only 9 months old. 

  We had great success in showing these 2 Kerry Blues and then later on down the track we had our first litter of Kerry's in 2002.  We retained a bitch from that litter "Aust. Ch Rendar Signature in Blu"

In 2003 we where lucky enough to Import Aust. Ch. Kinvarra Blueprint of Deacon (Imp USA) (Quinn) breeder Edie Brown, Kinvarra and Susan Dunivant, Elf Loch, North Carolina. And this would not have happened if it wasn't for our very good friend Mrs Anne Katona (USA) well respected International Judge , Anne has now taken on the role of AKC Rep. for CA, also a  long time breeder of  Kerry Blue Terriers under the "Tyrella" prefix . 

   In 2005 we had a second litter from Belle and Quinn we retained both the puppies from this litter.

  "Bugsy" is the only Progeny in Australia sired by this dog.

  "Fletcher"

 has now joined the Rendar family .

 Fletcher started his show career on the 16th April, 2010

   He has certainly made his mark in the ring with excellent results 

   which speak for themselves.

We also have our grandchildren's staffie cross ( Tarzan) living with us since they relocated to Queensland.
