From March 2008 our Kennels will now be known as YELLOWSAND Kennels.  Yellowsand is Sue's Kennel Prefix and her Shaundar Labradors will now produce progeny under this new Prefix.  Dale still has his SHAUNDAR Prefix for his Working Dogs.

14.06.2009 - My beautiful girl Eve gains her Australian Championship Title today.  Eve completed her final points towards her title by Winning BEST of BREED.  A few tears were shed as memories of her beautiful father came to mind today.

16.02.2008 - Paige has now gained her Australian Championship Title, so now Aust. Champion Shaundar Wind Dancer will still be shown as she loves the show ring, but her next journey now is motherhood.   Paige now resides with Tracey Rawlinson in Victoria.

20.01.2008 - Jag's daughter Shaundar Empressa gains her Australian Championship Title today.  Well done to Matilda and her owner Sue Riseley on gaining her title.  Now the fun begins!!

THREE (3) of Jag's sons are now Champions in 3 different Countries - the latest being Shaundar Black Tycoon (Morphious) owned by Gill Pauvonic in South Australia along with  Shaundar Black Shadow (Angus) who has gained his Indonesian Championship Title and Shaundar Solidarity (Scooby) who is a Singapore Champion.!! 

Congratulations all of our friends who have worked hard to achieve such wonderful results with dogs bred by our kennels!!

We have based our kennels on breeding Labradors for the betterment of the breed and the pleasure of our dogs with over 30 years international experience.  All of our breeding dogs are hip/elbow scored and eye tested prior to breeding.  Our litters are carefully planned with the object of improving this beautiful breed.

A Labrador Retriever is a friend for life.  Their endearing qualities are that they are always happy, friendly and charming dogs, they are totally devoted to their families, love children and always want to please.

Our Labradors are a big part of our lives and are excellent companions, are house dogs but  will also let you know if a visitor arrives.  We love to show our dogs and do basic obedience and gundog obedience with them.  We do extremely well in the show ring - if you look at our dogs individual pages you can look at their achievements.  Our dogs are our best friends at all times and are our number one priority.

2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 have been great milestones for our kennels.

2003 saw the year culminate in our dogs winning Labrador Retriever Club of Queensland Top Show Dog (Tully) and Top Show Bitch (Holley).

2004 - Tully won runner up Show dog and Holley's daughter Tina (Ch. Shaundar High Society) won runner up Show Bitch.

2005 saw Aust. Champion Southbank Black Market (Jag) achieve a lot of exciting things for us.  As well as achieving his Championship Title fairly quickly, Jag won the LRCQ Metropolitan Show Dog of the Year (Southbank Trophy) and also the Waglett Trophy (for excellence in showing).  He has now sired some beautiful puppies for us some of whom are already being shown and a couple more who will hit the show ring in 2006.  There are baby pictures of some of them on our photo album pages.

2006 was an exceptional year for Aust. GRAND Champion Southbank Black Market who achieved his GRAND show Title in July 2006 and continued the year on winning many group and show awards as well as a BEST IN SHOW under a Gundog Specialist Judge.  Jag again won the LRCQ Metropolitan Show Dog of the Year (Southbank Trophy) as well as winning  the LRCQ Queensland Show Dog of the Year and also the Waglett Trophy (for excellence in showing).  He also is the top scoring Labrador for 2006 on the DOGZONLINE Point Score Competition.

2007. -  We have decided to have a quiet year this year and only show sparingly.  The last couple of years of hard showing and campaigning began to take their toll on us and the dogs - we needed a rest and so do they.   We have 3 new young dogs sired by GRCH Southbank Black Market (JAG) from our girls (Cassey & Tina) , who will be campaigned towards the end of 2007.  Shaundar Next Crusader (Tara) has been shown a few times and has had some good results.  Her Litter Mate brother Shaundar Anothr Crusader (Darcy) is also being shown by our friend Sue Riseley.  Sue  Formosa will undertake showing and campaigning these young dogs on her own as Dale has decided to pursue other interests (Sheep Dog Trialling) and is having lots of fun training his young dogs and competing all over South East Queensland.

2009 - Sue is enjoying showing Eve and Mojo and has gained Eve's title on 14.06.2009 (2 days prior to her 2nd birthday).
