Our love affair with the bull terrier breed began in 1970 when Dabews Benjamin (Ben) joined our family followed soon after by Dabews Bloom (Cindy).

When Ben was a puppy we took him along to our local show in Maryborough and came home excitedly with the ribbon and prize Ben had won.   The show bug had hit.

Our first litter (with Cindy) produced our first champion Shirvin Angel.    Many more were to follow, some having an enormous influence on the breed as it is today.   Our latest Champion being Ch ROM Shirvin Slice Of Heaven.  Over the years we have had considerable success at both All Breeds and Specialty Shows.  Winning best in show at specialties on a number of occasions and too numerous to mention in show awards.  Many people who have purchased our pups have done likewise.  It is a big thrill for us to see someone with a Shirvin dog winning.  A big percentage of winning dogs over the years have had Shirvin in their pedigrees.  A number of our dogs have also obtained their ROM’s including Aust. Ch. Shirvin Young Blood.

Vin attended the first meeting to form the Bull Terrier Club of Victoria.  We have been members from the very start and are now life members.
