Grand puppies in Europe! Phantom's beautiful daughter Audry - Latvian/Lithuanian/Estonian/Russian/Ukraine/Belarus/Polish Champion, Latvian Junior Ch Grausturm Love Is A Drug - has given birth to her first litter, 4 boys and 4 girls. The sire is Polish Ch/ Polish Jr Ch/ Polish Junior Winner 05/ European Winner 06/ Baltic Winner 06 Ringo Kid Fala Love'a - or Byron to his friends. Bryon's father is Swedish Ch/ Swedish Winner 02/ Swedish Winner 05 Greydove Nordic Liason, originally from right here in Australia.
Phantom finally titled! After being out of the show ring for a year, Phantom (Grausturm Ima Tassidevil) has finally got his Australian Championship. About time, too! With the kennels being open 7 days per week, and my complete inability to keep up with that amazing movement, showing has become very difficult. Our good friends Lyn and Geof Martin of Treugrau Weimaraners took Phantom to cheer up their lovely gir Dana (Aust Dual Ch (T) Greywei Swiss Chalet) as she was suffering after the loss of her 15 year old Wei friend Kyla. While he was there, Dana taught him how much fun it was to hunt in a fountain, and Lyn thought she might enter Phantom in a couple of shows. He ended up finishing his title with two Best of Breeds, and was short listed to the final three for Best In Group. Thank you so much, Lyn and Geof. Oh, and sorry about the goldfish!

Exiting Addition to Syrinx! We have been joined by Australian Champion Grausturm Egomaniac He is a longhair carrier and is litter brother to Nederlands Champion Grausturm Extra Special, who was winner of BOB at the World Show, and the first, and so far only Australian bred Longhair to be invited to Crufts and has attended twice. Many thanks to his owner Maree Pledger ( THE WORLD'S BEST HANDLER!!!) and Ingrid Albion for entrusting this very special boy to us. We hope to live up to your trust and help Boss fulfil his amazing potential. Boss brings with him the incredible hunting strength of his line, and we hope to have him in the field and he will be teaching me! In fact, there will be a change of focus for Syrinx. Up until now, we have shown our dogs in the conformation ring alone, but have been doing Obedience Training at the Companion Dog Club of the ACT, and we will be entering the trialling ring, firstly with Lara. Boss will be going into the field, and tracking for several of our dogs is also on the horizon. We believe Weimaraners should be able to perform the tasks they were bred to do, and we have every faith in our lines. Phantom's mother is now Australian/Swedish Champion, Swedish Bloodtracking Champion Grausturm Dare To Dream, and Boss' brother, Nederlands Champion Grausturm Extra Special, who in tracking in Holland, follows trails 72 hours old and of course Phantom's daughter in Europe, BISS Multi Champion Grausturm Love Is A Drug, has been graded as Excellent at her first Retrieving Test on the day she turned 10 months of age with a 10/10, and an 8/10 for Swamp Birds. Phantom's three half brothers and sister in Sweden all attained their Swedish Championships with their Swedish Blood Tracking Championships, on the same weekend. Not bad!
