About Us
"QUALITY NOT QUANTITY" is our aim Hi there our names are Kerry & Bob and our kennel is located in the Southern Tablelands of NSW Australia in the city of Goulburn which is 2 hours south of Sydney. We first became interested in "showing" when we attended a local show for a "look see" after Bob acquired an Irish Setter from a local breeder, from then on we were hooked. We have owned, trialled, breed, shot over and of course shown Irish, Gordon & English Setters over the past 35 years. Our interest has seen us involved with dog clubs in various capacities from President,Show Sectary through to "goffers". During our journey I have obtained my Gundog Judging licence, conducted lectures, been an examiner on the Setter breeds for our controlling body. We obtained our first English from Stylish kennels New Zealand (NZ/AUST Ch Stylish Elegans Glory) owned by Kim & Marge Inwood. We have imported from the USA our special boy "Titan" aka CH/AM CH Trailstars Timbertrail Titan from co-owner breeder Peg Dunsmuir of Timbertrail Kennels. Titan has been selectively breed to some of the best bitches in this country and his progeny are making their presence felt weekly in the show ring. Our object as breeders has been to produce quality puppies not masses of puppies so breedings are not a regular occurrence at Talshae. Over the years we have made many wonderful friends both here and overseas especially USA & New Zealand which has made the "journey" and learning even more fun.
