Trimdon Cocker Spaniel kennels is a small select kennel which was established in 1978.Trimdon is a small mining village in County Durham, England and is the birthplace of Bettys' father.We were fortunate enough to visit Trimdon (see photo) in July 2005.

In 1978 we befriended Mrs Dorothy Speer of "Dandaul" fame & this resulted in the purchase of two puppies sired by her latest import of the time Aust.Ch. Scolys Bitcon Starmaker from her well known "Colinwood" bred lines.Moderate success was enjoyed and we were hooked.

In 1979 we purchased another "Dandaul" who was to become Aust.Ch. Dandaul His Highness. Sonny provided us with many exciting moments including Best Exhibit in Show at the NSW Cocker Specialty in 1984.To Dandaul Blue Dawn he sired our first homebred champion Aust. Ch. Trimdon Sweet Talk "Jenna". She was a prolific winner in her day but was not the maternal type & did not breed on.

It was around this point in time that we struck up a friendship with Ann & Dennis O'Keefe of "Glenayden" fame.A friendship that remains foremost in our lives to this day.

Aust. Ch. Glenayden Powder Blue was campaigned to her title & to Aust. Ch. Wingait Risky Business "Rupert" produced our much loved "Nicholas" Aust. Ch. Trimdon Soot N Snow who also went Best Exhibit In Show at the NSW Specialty.

From there Aust. Ch. Camdach Wild Rumours "Katie" joined this kennel & is the much loved kennel mate our our beloved "Rueben" Aust. Ch. Ryangaye Rhythm N Blues.

Others campaigned by Trimdon include Ch. Ryangaye Rhythm N Soul "Chelsea" & Aust. Ch. Ryangaye Rhyme Nor Reason "Meg" both owned by our dear friend Mrs Gaye Allen
