I have been in the show world  since early 1970 starting out with the successful Maltese prefix of Misterri. Over the years I was lucky enough to be involved with many dogs of merit, imported and Aust bred. In 1994 I became a foster mum to a Shih Tzu...I was totally smitten. Aust Ch Kackinka Kentucky Rose became the foundation of Tzuai Shih Tzu. In the last 12 years I have had the priviledge of sharing great times with this breed, they have brought a huge amount of joy to my life. I have met so many wonderful tzu enthusiasts and made firm friends with those that share similar visions for our exquiste breed. I am happy to help newcomers to the breed, those wanting to know the joys of owning a tzu. I do not support puppy mills or those breeders churning out mediocre dogs for dollars. At Tzuai we are always striving to contribute happy healthy tzus of mind and body. Dog showing is the bonus, the true happiness in owning a tzu is sharing your home with this delightful breed. Our guys are not caged and live with us, enjoying our gardens and pool with freedom and exuberance. We even have our own Tzupedo. Coats may be sacrificed but our guys never stop showing no matter what the weather or conditions. We offer an ongoing puppy/adult support system to all tzus, so please feel free to contact us.
