Welcome to Ykarumba Kennel Breeder/Exhibitor of the Weimaraner & Weimaraner Long Hair Ykarumba is situated in the beautiful Pioneer Valley, 54klms from Mackay QLD. Working in conjunction with my best friend, Sue Turner "Weijarra Kennels",we will endeavour to breed versatile Weimaraners whether your interests are show,obedience,agility,tracking or just a wonderful family addition. Ykarumba takes pride in DNA profiling,Disease Specific testing (vWD Type 1) ,Hip & Elbow scoring of our Sire and Dam's. From Feb '08 our Wei's will be Eye Certified by a Registered Specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology through the AVA ANKC Australian Canine Eye Scheme. Our puppies are CCC QLD registered (limited & main papers), vaccinated,dewclaws removed,wormed,ear tattoed, microchipped,flea,tick & heartworm treated prior to leaving our home.Puppies go with Petplan's 6 week free pet insurance,Information folder including diet sheet,5 Generation Pedigree reciept,Breed Info,Dam/Sire test result's. Ykarumba offer lifetime support when needed for your Puppy,Older Puppy or Adult Wei. Ykarumba Wei's have free run in our 5 acre yard surrounding our house everyday and are not kennel dogs.Their daily antics bring joy,laughter, disbelief and on occasion push me to my limit.What these guys are capable of getting themselves into and then giving a look of 'Who me,I did nothing",or a classic look of "it wasn't me".Anyone who has had the privelage of having a Wei will definately know what I'm talking about. I couldn't imagine not having a Wei in my life.I'm definately hooked on this breed !
