Comments : I can't believe it! It was on the 23rd November last year that I wrote to you to inform you of Chaser
s condition (Catch Me If You Can) and I am now writing to you on the 22nd a year later that we have just lost him to bladder cancer. Virtually a year since the prognosis. We are absolutely devastated, as he was such a bundle of joy! We called him "Mr Bouncy Bouncy" as he was always so happy. he was a credit to your kennels. Comments : Hi Di and Jim! We were most honoured to be able to welcome your beautiful Chaser (Catch me if you can) into our home a few years ago. Remember he first went to someone else who found him a bit of a handful. We have so loved having him as an integral part of our family. Sadly, he has come down with bladder cancer and it seems to have metastisised to his lungs etc. The vet took out as much as he could from his bladder last night but it was too diffuse. We are doing all we can to make whatever time he has left as happy as possible. Of course we are all upset, as he has made such a difference in our lives. He always follows me around and even sleeps by the side of my bed in his basket. I am utterly devastated already and am dreading when we lose him. Comments : Thank you for your positive comments re Victorian breeder. I leave tommorrow to collect what looks like a very feminine girl. Her tail is so long! Each wire i have had has had a longer length tail I will get used to it.
I plan to try again at keeping the coat resembling a WFT -head and legs and look forward to a good (but probably independant) companion.She will be my last dog and i just could not go past a Wire.
