Picture of Jill and Brando. Aceweis Kennels was established in 1987 by Jill Townley and later joined by Cathy Trinka in 1992. Unfortunately Jill passed away suddenly in 2003 and the kennel is now owned by Cathy Trinka and Linda Jarvis. Initially Aceweis just bred the Weimaraner but in 1995 after Jill fell in love with the Hungarian Vizsla, that this breed was added to the kennel. Aceweis is a small kennel breeding for beauty, function and type. We are dedicated to breeding both the Weimaraner and Hungarian Vizsla in Jills memory and we hope to follow her dream and do her proud. Cathy is a licenced Group 3 judge and is currently training for Group 6 and Linda is currently training for Group 3. We are members of the Weimaraner Club of South Australia with Cathy being a Life Member and the treasurer for more years than she would like to remember:-) We are also members of the Weimaraner Club of Canberra and the Gundog Club of South Australia. This kennel continues in the memory of Jill and this site is dedicated to her and her visions. We love you Jill. |
