Laura & Aimee's page
This is a page about our two daughters Laura and Aimee, Laura is a very active girl, when not playing Netball, or going to dog shows she is running about or jumping on the trampoline or trying to teach young Aimee how to show dogs and play netball. Laura has just turned 11 and is now into Netball and Horse Riding, we just purchased Ant a lovely pony for both girls to learn to ride on. He seems gentle and good natured, so maybe we all will get to ride him. Aimee has just turned 3 and well terrible twos where nothing. Aimee is into everything. Laura's School just had their athletics carnival for 2007 at the end of August and Laura won 2nd 100m, 2nd 200m, 2nd 800m, 3rd High Jump, 2nd SHot Put, 2nd Discus, 4th Long jump, so off to the district carnival we went on 30 AUgust and Laura competed in all but long jump and high jump and ended up getting 2nd in 100m race and 3rd in 200m final. So we are very proud of our VERY ACTIVE girl. 2007 has started well with Laura getting selected in Goulburn Regional Trials for both Soccer and Netball, so plenty of experience being had. 2006 saw the Tarago Teddies Netball Team finish Runner up in competition. 2007 Netball has seen the Tarago team once again qualify for semi finals which are currently being held (sept 07). Aimee competed in Tiny Tots at the Cooma Dog Show and won a lovely big CUSHION, both Mikey and Aimee enjoyed sleeping on it. Laura showed Frodo and won the 11 - 13 yrs handlers class also at the Cooma Dog Show Nov 07.
She is a great athlete and here are some photos taken at the school zone carnival
Above - Running, Long Jump and Winning 100m Race.
Laura qualified 1st or 2nd in every event in the School athletics carnival in 2006, representing the school at the District Carnival. She did quite well finishing with a few places. Laura also got 2nd in the School Cross Country and attended the district carnival. Laura got invited to attend the Dogs NSW Junior Handlers Final in November 2006, she choose to show a friends Siberian Husky and in the heat of the day, still did very well, not winning a place but enjoying the competition.
