About Us
We are a small home based kennel and breeders of Schnauzers and more recently Kerry Blue Terriers in New Zealand.
We have been involved in showing Schnauzers since 1996. During this period we have made 7 Standard Schnauzers and 4 Kerry Blue Terriers up to New Zealand Champions and also campaigned a lovely Miniature Schnauzer bitch to gain her title also for K Snook, Schondara Kennels from Christchurch, New Zealand.
During our showing career to date we have taken numerous Group and In Show awards with both the Schnauzers and Kerry Blue's. We also Titled the Youngest Standard Schnauzer in New Zealand - Ch Stowlonga Heir Apparent was sitting on 12 challenges before turning one and the last Qualifying challenge needed was obtained on his first birthday on 23 May 2000.
As we consider Quality is more important than Quantity we only breed when we are wanting to produce another Star for the ring so we concentrate on having no more than 2 litters per year. Because of the careful planning Our Schnauzers and Kerry Blue Terriers are well known for their excellent temperaments and type.
We have imported a fabulous Schnauzer bitch from Stallfurt Kennels in England she is everything we wanted. She has been given praise by numerous judges including breed specialists on her type including how closely she meets the breed standard and especially her fabulous coat.
We are pleased to be the first New Zealand Schnauzer breeders to have exported a Schnauzer back to the UK for showing and breeding. The feedback on the quality of "Ellie" is very encouraging and pleasing for us as breeders.
