We bought our first bitch Ch Soboku Sabi and followed this with the acquisition of her dam, Ch Glendalin Kazumi San, who became the foundation bitch of the Kazumi Kennel. We have bred less than a litter per year, although the second half of 2008 will hopefully see several Kazumi litters on the ground. We are particularly proud of the very strong bitch line we have established, as illustrated on this page, with Ch Kazumi Tokyo Rose who is a daughter of Ch Glendalin Kazumi San, Tokyo Rose's daughter Ch Elgianto Return to Kazumi, and her grand daughter, Kazumi Yum Yum.
Our bitches are renowned for their femininity, lovely heads and hoods, together with their ideal balance and length of leg. Temperament is considered paramount at Kazumi, and our pups have friendly, inquiring and sometimes independent natures. Our puppies are healthy and happy Shibas. On most occasions they go to live with families rather than to show ring homes.
