About Us
With total dedication and love for this wonderful little Welsh breed, Chalan Sealyham's have now been Breeding and Showing for well over a decade.
In the 1970's we bred and exhibited Afghan Hounds and Whippets in Australia, in the late 1980's we moved from Australia to New Zealand, where in the 1990's we imported our first two Sealyham's into New Zealand - this was the start of Chalan.
In 2002 we moved back to Australia with most of our Sealyham's, so we could continue our passion for showing and breeding our rare Welsh Breed, the Sealyham Terrier. We have recently imported some New Bloodlines and thank those breeders for allowing us to own and show their lovely dogs. These Sealyhams will be so beneficial for the breed here in Australia.
Chalan Sealyham Terriers are also the first Sealyham Kennel to become DNA Certified in Australia, which complies with the major Kennel Clubs around the world .
