About Us

Warren and I have been training and trialling dogs in obedience for many years. Warren is an avid lover of the German Shepherd Dog and I have fallen for the German Shepherd, the Belgian Shepherd Malinois and the Bouvier des Flandres. All are Working Dogs and of very similar temperaments. We are both Obedience & Endurance Test Judges, and Warren is also a licensed Tracking Judge and has been awarded the GSD Specialist Judges Badge for Obedience. Warren started obedience trialling with his second GSD, Sabre and obtained his first obedience title in 1987. He and Sabre carried on with obedience and then into tracking, eventually giving Sabre his AOC, Australian Obedience Champion, title. In 1996 Warren ventured into the conformation field with his first show dog, Carson. After enjoying many successfull years exhibiting Carson at Specialty and All Breeds levels, he continued with his next dog, a bitch, Enya. Enya has now retired from showing also, and Warren will now begin work with Enya's son, Scaddan. Carson retired from work due to an injury in 2003 and started a career in ANKC sheep herding in 2004 at the ripe old age of 9 years young. He nows spends his time relaxing at home enjoying his retirement years. Warren still trains and trials Enya and Scaddan in Obedience. I have also been active in the Conformation ring with my Bouviers and Malinois and in the last few years found a new dogsport, that being herding, which I’m presently training Starr, Legend and my young pup, Jazz for. At present Starr has retired from competitive obedience until the new UDX obedience class starts in July 2006, but she still enjoys her herding and will start tracking. Legend, whilst still showing, is training in Agility and Herding while he matures, and later in 2006 will start his UD training. I have just recently lost my Bouvier des Flandres, Sierra. She was a one in a million dog, arrogant and defiant, but intelligent and loving. In years to come I would like another, as they are a wonderful breed.
