Auchmuir Audaciousness (imp UK) - above
So many changes to advise of........
After 50 years of involvement with Yorkies, age and health (or lack of) have caught up as they invariably do.
Earlier this year I came to the realisation that, realistically, I could no longer continue to breed my beloved dogs. They were reluctantly and oh so sadly placed into the very best homes and are living the life of 'Riley'. I retained one little girl, Ch Auchmuir Advent At Yetholme (imp UK) - Maira - the light of my life and mother of five babies born in July 2024. When she passed suddenly on 30/10/24 it was without doubt truly heartbreaking. There are no words to describe the pain.
This tragedy led me to transfer, even sooner than planned, my kennel prefix - Yetholme - to my trusted friend, Mrs Moira Sharp. Moi already had yorkies from me and live wonderful lives. In addition, Moi is a beautiful groomer which makes my heart sing. Hopefully Moi will be able to carry the prefix through for the forseeable future, showing and breeding in a small way. Moi has a lovely daughter of Maira's, Ch Yetholme Maira's Makin Mischief (Maisi).
Not surprisingly, I found I could not live without a yorkie in my life and once more reached out to Maira's breeder, Sheena Turnock (Auchmuir) in England. She kindly agreed to send Auchmuir Audaciousness (Halli) to me. Halli is a full younger sister to Maira. Halli arrived on 24/8/25 and has settled in beautifully. She is a gorgeous little girl, the epitome of what a yorkie should be. She may never get to the showring due to lack of opportunity, but she's a wonderful companion.
With Moi's encouragement and support, however, we still have much to look forward to in the future, so keep checking back for further updates.

With thanks to Jodie Delaney from Perth who is campaigning Yetholme Dream A Littledream for me - Isla. Isla is doing so well. At her first show out of Baby Puppy at Perth Royal, she won Minor Puppy in Group. Isla is more than halfway to her Championship title and has several group wins under her belt.
